Traits of degeneration in phytocenoses of the south and middle knees of the Kola Bay (Barents Sea)

Researches of phytocenoses in litoral and sublitoral of the Kola Bay (Barents Sea) have been carried out. A number of changes has been revealed in the vegetation of middle and south knees of the Kola Bay as compared to the data of the early XX century. This can be related to the anthropogenic loading: reduction of depth of sprouting of red water-plants' belt and changing of its associations, considerable reduction of specific composition.

Changes of structure of literal phytocenoses of the Kola Bay caused by antropogenic influence

The comparative analysis of specific structure of literal phytocenoses of the Kola Bay and the bay of Ura with the environmentally friendly bay Yarnyshnaya has been made. Some features of phytocenoses of the protected sites of Murman caused by antropogenic influence have been shown. Simplification of specific structure and decrease in the specific variety of epiphytes have been revealed. The most stable to the antropogenic influence macrophytes in the conditions of high latitudes have been defined.

Associations of kelp forest in Ivanovskaya and Drozdovka Bay (Barents Sea, Murman coast)

Sublittoral phytocenoses in the Ivanovskaya and Drozdovka bays (Barents Sea, Murman coast) have been investigated. Modern data of species diversity and the structure of associations of Laminariales in those bays have been given. Phytocenoses of the Drozdovka bay have been grouped for two associations, phytocenoses of the Ivanovskaya bay – for five associations. The high species diversity in the lagoon of the Ivanovskaya bay has been revealed.
